**What we do**:
Horseshoe Hill Construction Inc. (HHC) is a national general contractor specializing in concrete construction/rehabilitation and specialty concrete works.
We currently have an opening for a motivated **Safety/Contract Administrator** at our head office located in Caledon Village.
OH&S and construction administration/reception experience is a strong asset. Rate of pay will depend on experience.
Position details are as follows:
**Tender Administration**
- Tender file set up and distribution of tender documents to estimating department.
- Complete bond and insurance requests.
- Track tenders, download/request documents and distribute amendments.
- Complete and track all prequalification submittals (RFPQ).
- Maintain weekly bid list and distribute bid results.
**Contract/Subcontract Administration**
- Set up electronic job files.
- Ensure contract insurance, bonding, H&S and additional submittal requirements are met and in place at time of execution.
- Prepare and distribute subcontract documents in accordance with master contract.
**Health & Safety**
- Company safety program maintenance and management in conjunction with applicable Provincial legislation for master program.
- INS-Net World and ComplyWorks subcontractor site management.
- Develop site specific safety program (SSSP) for owners approval where required and put together job specific safety folders, hazard assessments, emergency response documents and records of training.
- Maintain training records/upkeep of the company compliance and training records tool.
- Claim/incident management, compensation reporting including return to work plan development and management for WSIB/WCB.
- Obtain WSIB/WCB clearance letters for HHC and subcontractors as needed.
- Develop and distribute safety newsletters and memos.
- Maintain company yearly injury summary and statistics report for audit and master program documents.
- Administrate procedures and provide overview for corrective action compliance for yearly Provincial audits to maintain COR compliance by Province.
- Gather, review, verify, file, and record site submissions (safety forms) such as inspections, orientations, Tool Box Talks, etc.) and insure proper recording procedures are followed for COR auditing and reporting.
- Facilitation of required safety training and schedule employees for required safety courses.
**Reception Duties/General Administration**
- Answering and directing incoming calls.
- Preparing, issuing and tracking of all outgoing courier and express post/opening and distribution of incoming mail and courier deliveries.
- Ordering and maintaining inventory of all office supplies.
**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
