Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Coordinator to join our team at Elm Centre Administrative Office. This role is responsible for providing exceptional support to our visitors, staff and programs.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $23.20 per hour (L2). We offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to telephone, email and in-person inquiries in a professional and courteous manner;
  • Greet all visitors and direct them accordingly;
  • Present a positive image of the organization to all visitors, suppliers and other interactions;
  • Maintain the appearance of the reception area;
  • Receive and distribute incoming supplies and other deliveries;
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Office Co-ordinator or Manager of Administration.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Completion of high school, including technical or commercial training in relevant fields;
  • 1-3 years of directly related work experience;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization/general public;
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills and administrative abilities;
  • Ability to deliver culturally sensitive service in a multicultural environment;
  • Ability to maintain a positive approach and a professional manner at all times;
  • Knowledge of a second language an asset.
