Job Summary

As a Google Cloud Sales Team Lead, you will play a vital role in leading our sales team responsible for the largest e-commerce and internet client. You will be a skilled team leader passionate about Cloud technologies, working closely with the Cloud team to set direction, ensure clear expectations, and deliver results on time with high quality.

Responsibilities


  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Google Cloud sales team, ensuring priorities are correctly defined, prioritized, and delivered.
  • Coach and mentor the Cloud team, driving the uplift of skills, helping them work through complex problems, identifying opportunities for growth, and encouraging continuous learning.
  • Identify and implement areas for improvement, defining standards, governance, best practices, and encouraging consistent adoption across all teams.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews and present these to clients and stakeholders.
  • Work with training and learning teams to support ongoing development and progression for your team.
  • Act as a central escalation point for critical issues, ensuring the team responds appropriately and effectively when major incidents occur, and key learnings are not only identified but also acted upon.


Requirements


  • Able to actively participate in the day-to-day operations of the Google Cloud sales team.
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor team members, drive skill uplift, and help them overcome complex challenges.
  • Effective at identifying areas for improvement and implementing positive changes.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to prepare and deliver regular business reviews to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with training and learning teams to enhance team development.
  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
