Commercial Insurance Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: As a subject matter expert, you will be accountable for achieving business results through effective process management, workflow optimization, and quality control.
- Leadership and Coaching: You will lead by example, coach and mentor team members, and demonstrate exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Change Management: You will support the implementation of major change initiatives and work closely with the management team to develop and execute business strategies.
- Team Development: You will work with the team to develop business plans, leverage individual strengths, and implement succession plans.
- Quality Assurance: You will ensure that service quality meets expected standards and identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
- Issue Resolution: You will analyze and resolve service and sales issues, and follow up on escalated situations as required.
- Special Projects: You will assist the Operations Manager with special projects and contribute to the overall growth and success of the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial insurance.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in people management.
- RIBO license in good standing.
- Leadership and management experience within an insurance brokerage.
- Strong business acumen, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent communication, written, oral, and presentation skills.
