Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional day-to-day customer service to clients
  • Process policy changes and maintain professional relationships with insurers and underwriters
  • Assist and support producers as required
  • Process call backs, submissions, and mail in a timely manner
  • Be flexible to perform various assigned tasks
  • Promote company features and benefits as part of an ongoing portfolio review
  • Cross-sell a variety of products at every opportunity
  • Promote client loyalty through attention to detail and relationship building
  • Remain current on all company philosophies and procedures
  • Accept risks within established guidelines

Qualifications

  • Holds RIBO license in good standing
  • Previous commercial lines insurance experience
  • Professional, friendly, and courteous with the ability to provide superior customer service
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities to work with a variety of insurers and their products
  • Adaptable to change
  • Broker Management System experience
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to work with minimal supervision
