Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager - Commercial Finance to join our team in Vaughan. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and providing expert advice on commercial finance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business leads through market research, networking, and targeted outreach to identify potential clients and establish new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions to help them achieve their business goals.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business challenges and provide expert advice on commercial finance solutions.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and changes in the commercial finance landscape to identify new niches and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and present compelling proposals and presentations to showcase our commercial finance products and services, tailored to each client's needs.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, including credit analysts and loan officers, to ensure seamless execution of commercial finance solutions for our clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field. An MBA is an asset.
  • Proven experience in business development, preferably in commercial finance or financial services.
  • Demonstrated network and strong understanding of the business community in Vaughan, Brampton, Markham, Newmarket, and Richmond Hill.
  • Knowledge of commercial loan products, financing options, and credit analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage and persuade potential clients.
  • Ability to think concisely and results-driven, with a strong work ethic and ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Access to a vehicle and valid driver's license.
