ATCO Electric is a leading provider of electricity distribution services, committed to delivering exceptional customer service and reliability. As a Work Desk Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Central Work Desk, responding to customer inquiries, and dispatching work requests to our field operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the Work Force Management System (WFMS) and Outage Management System (OMS) to dispatch work requests, monitor progress, and manage expectations.
- Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, email, and other communication channels, providing timely and accurate information.
- Monitor and close work requests, producing work completion reports as required.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support, including filing, photocopying, faxing, and data entry.
- Collaborate with the Supervisor, Central Work Desk, and other team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a related role, preferably in customer service or operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on resolving customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
