Role Overview:
As a Work Desk Representative at ATCO Electric, you will play a crucial role in a dynamic environment, where your contributions will be valued.
Reporting to the Supervisor of the Central Work Desk, your responsibilities will include managing daily operations, responding to outage emergencies, and routing service requests from a call center to the appropriate field service providers. You will assess job types and service targets to prioritize and assign work requests efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Commitment (Work rotational shifts: :am to :pm or :pm to :am)
- Address all work requests and inquiries from call centers and customers via various communication channels.
- Monitor and finalize work requests, generating completion reports.
- Provide administrative support, including filing, photocopying, and data entry.
- Utilize Work Force Management System (WFMS) and Outage Management System (OMS) for dispatching and tracking work requests.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience in a related role preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Databases, Word, and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Experience with data entry and multitasking in a computer-based environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a self-motivated approach.
- Familiarity with ATCO Electric and its service area is advantageous.
Successful candidates will be required to reside within the designated service area.
