Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Canada. This role will be based in British Columbia, supporting employees across Western and Eastern Canada. The successful candidate will have a strong background in HR, excellent communication skills, and a business acumen that translates into strategic plans.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular meetings with business units and travel to assigned labs as needed.
- Collaborate with leaders to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, and promote retention.
- Provide guidance on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, and/or equivalent experience preferred.
- Five plus years of HR experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Strong knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate in technical and non-technical terms.
- Results-oriented and hands-on approach, with a strong business acumen.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Suite required.
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $125,000 CAD per annum, depending on experience. This role also offers opportunities for growth and development within a dynamic and supportive environment.
