Human Resources Business Development Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Business Development Expert to join our team at Trans Mountain Corporation. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to leaders and business groups across the organization.
Responsibilities- Workforce Planning and Management: Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to meet business needs, ensuring effective talent management and succession planning.
- Conflict Resolution and Risk Mitigation: Provide expert counsel on conflict resolution, risk mitigation, and employment equity obligations, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Talent Management and Performance: Design and implement performance management systems, recognizing and rewarding high-performing employees while addressing underperformance issues.
- HR Program Development and Implementation: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, refine, and implement HR programs, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience;
- 8-10 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a senior role;
- Expert knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws, including labour relations and collective bargaining;
- Proven track record of successful relationship management, consulting, and teamwork expertise;
- Ability to use metrics and data to support strategic analysis and decision-making;
- Strong project management skills and execution ability to deliver HR projects and initiatives.
