About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at 2414758 Alberta Ltd. as a User Support Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our users, ensuring they have a seamless experience with our systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and resolve technical issues related to computer systems, software, and network connectivity.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical problems, using technical manuals, guides, and other resources to find solutions.
  • User Training: Provide training and guidance to users on how to use our systems and applications, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their tasks efficiently.
  • Documentation: Maintain a comprehensive log of problems and solutions, making it easier for other technical support analysts to resolve similar issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other technical support teams to identify and resolve technical issues, and participate in the redesign of applications and software to improve user experience.
  • Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior technical support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, requiring attention to detail.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
