About the Role

Mamma's Inn is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hotel operations, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Operational Policies

Design and implement effective policies and procedures to optimize daily hotel operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Supervise and Train Staff

Lead and motivate a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality work performance.

Conduct Performance Reviews and Training Sessions

Regularly assess staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Manage Budgets and Monitor Finances

Prepare and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed decisions to drive business growth and profitability.

Implement Marketing Strategies

Develop and execute marketing plans to attract and retain guests, increasing brand awareness and driving revenue growth.

Enforce Policies and Procedures

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, addressing any deviations or issues promptly and effectively.

Address Customer Complaints and Concerns

Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.

Assist Guests with Special Needs

Provide exceptional support to guests with special needs, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their stay.

Establish Work Schedules and Maintain Inventory

Develop and manage work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, and initiative
