About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Manager to join our team at Mamma's Inn. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Operational Policies

Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

Supervise and Train Staff

Supervise and train a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the highest standards of customer service.

Conduct Performance Reviews

Conduct regular performance reviews to assess staff performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.

Manage Budgets and Finances

Prepare and manage budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure the hotel's financial goals are met.

Market the Hotel

Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

Address Customer Complaints

Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints, resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.

Assist with Special Requests

Assist guests with special needs, providing personalized service to ensure their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

Establish Work Schedules

Establish and manage work schedules for the front desk team, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.

Maintain Inventory

Organize and maintain inventory of hotel supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are available when needed.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.

Work Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail.

Personal Suitability

Client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, and initiative.
