China Business Development Manager

At STADA Shanghai (Trading) Co., Ltd, we are a leading manufacturer of high-quality pharmaceuticals with a strong presence in the Chinese market. As a Director, Acquisitions and Licensing, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth strategy in China.
Estimated Salary:$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Business Development efforts in China. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating and closing acquisition and licensing deals with companies in China that align with our three-pillar strategy: Consumer Health, Generics and Specialty pharmaceuticals.
Key Responsibilities:- Position STADA as a preferred partner for the European market in the Chinese pharmaceutical community
- Negotiate and close acquisition and licensing deals with companies in China
- Manage cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement business opportunities
- Prepare business cases and management approval decks for acquisitions
- Negotiate contracts and amendments with partners
- Over 10 years of experience in the Consumer Health or Generic Pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on Business Development
- Deep knowledge of the Chinese pharmaceutical and Consumer Health industry
- Leadership experience in country-specific Business Development transactions
- Ability to evaluate and understand scientific information relative to product development
