The Role

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Centralized Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all scheduling activities across various departments, ensuring optimal staffing levels to meet our operational needs and delivering exceptional service to our guests.

This role requires a strong organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule Coordination: Develop and maintain comprehensive scheduling for all departments, always ensuring full coverage.
  • Team Management: Work closely with Operational Directors to forecast staffing needs based on occupancy rates, events, and seasonal trends. Adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changing business needs.
  • Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all employee scheduling queries. Communicate schedule changes promptly to all affected parties to ensure smooth operations.
  • Time-off Management: Work with People & Culture Department to work through requests for time off, ensuring they are aligned with operational requirements and staff availability. Maintain an accurate record of vacations, sick leaves, and other absences so that the SLT can ensure there is sufficient coverage.
  • Compliance: Ensure that scheduling practices comply with all legal and company regulations regarding labor laws, working hours, rest periods, and overtime.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize scheduling software effectively to create, adjust, and distribute schedules. Ensure the software is updated to reflect actual staffing and any changes in real-time.
  • Reporting: Generate and provide regular reports on staffing levels, overtime, attendance, and other metrics as required by management.
  • Problem-solving: Address and resolve scheduling conflicts and staffing shortages promptly and efficiently.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve scheduling processes and practices to increase efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
  • Proficient in scheduling software and MS Office.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational needs.
Salary and Benefits

$65,000 - $85,000 annual salary based on experience and qualifications.
