We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Civil & Infrastructure Operations team at Pomerleau Construction. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in managing stakeholder communications, ensuring resource availability, and overseeing various administrative tasks on large-scale building and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Senior Project Manager and Project Team to provide coordination and project support.
  • Collaborate with team members, trade partners, consultants, and clients to ensure effective communication.
  • Review, interpret, and update construction schedules to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Maintain and review shop drawings, RFI's, material purchase orders, change notice quotes, and project completion documents.
  • Analyze project quotes to obtain the best prices in the market.
  • Compile and complete company-wide project reports.
  • Assemble, attend, document, and emphasize the importance of project meetings.
  • Provide support to the Quality department regarding project start-up documentation.
  • Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety, and Environmental Protection on the project.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in the civil and/or infrastructure construction industry.
  • University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.
  • Previous experience working on a large-scale construction project – civil/infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of project coordination and team collaboration.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and provide creative solutions to problems.
