Ski School Operations Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Ski School team at Vail Resorts as an Administrative Specialist. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth business operations, including managing administrative tasks, coordinating recruitment and onboarding processes, and supporting the Training Supervisor with reporting and scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage administrative tasks such as ordering, data entry, reporting, filing, and staff communications.
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes, including participation in recruitment events, interviewing, orientation, paperwork, and training.
- Ensure timely payroll and timekeeping entry, auditing, and correcting discrepancies, escalating concerns to management as needed.
- Support the Training Supervisor with reporting, tracking, and scheduling.
- Train supervisors and administrative team members on payroll functions and systems.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Ski and Ride School business office.
- Assist employees with HR-related questions, maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Manage schedules for up to 1500 instructors, working closely with the team of 12 scheduling experts.
- Facilitate a seamless experience for guests throughout their Snow School visit.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required; some college preferred.
- 1+ years of administrative work experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications.
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
Estimated Salary Range: $23.00 - $26.00/hour, depending on location and experience.
