Strategic Health Care Leadership Opportunity

Ontario Health is seeking a seasoned leader to drive strategic growth and operational excellence in its Performance, Accountability & Funding Allocation department. As a key member of the organization's senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of healthcare in Ontario.
About the RoleThe Vice President, Performance, Accountability & Funding Allocation provides strategic direction and oversight for financial and business planning, financial controllership and management, contracts and service provider relations, health system performance, accountability and quality improvement frameworks, metrics, monitoring and reporting for the region. This position requires a collaborative and innovative leader who can develop and implement effective strategies to drive business results and improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide strategic direction and oversight for internal operations related to Performance and Accountability measurement, funding allocation and reporting.
- Oversee funding reallocation management and capital funding planning request endorsement.
- Manage health service provider performance agreements and monitor provider risks and opportunities.
- Lead health service provider performance improvement processes.
- Develop and manage the overall risk management framework.
- Implement a system of quality and performance measures.
- Provide strategic direction for Performance and Accountability measurement and reporting.
- Lead the development and establishment of local healthcare funding plans.
- Provide leadership, guidance and management of Performance, Accountability and Funding Allocation staff.
- Master's degree in health administration, public administration, health planning, finance, business administration or relevant field.
- Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, or CGA) an asset.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in health care service delivery, internal/financial administration or performance management.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing a team.
- Fully paid medical, dental and vision coverage from your first day.

The salary range for this position is CAD $125,000 - $150,000. Located in Toronto, Ontario Health offers a competitive compensation package and a comprehensive benefits program that supports employees' physical and mental well-being.
