The ExecThread organization is seeking an exceptional Executive Director to spearhead its national member-driven association. This pivotal role demands a seasoned leader who can effectively manage the organization's administration, programs, and strategic plan with a strong focus on government relations and advocacy.

Key responsibilities include engaging with key government officials, policymakers, and other stakeholders to influence policy and advocate for the interests of a diverse member base. The Executive Director will also oversee operational management, encompassing fiscal integrity, budget management, staff leadership, and program execution. As the organization's spokesperson, they will represent ExecThread at high-level meetings and forums, promoting the co-operative model and advocating for policies that foster growth and development in the sector.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a university degree in business management and have at least 7 years of senior management experience in values-aligned organizations. A strong business acumen is essential, along with the ability to grow and diversify funding to achieve strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in working with Boards, strategic and operational planning, human resource development, financial administration, and communications. Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including public speaking, are vital. Fluency in English and French is desirable for this pan-Canadian organization, with a willingness to improve language proficiency considered an asset.

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $120,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience. This compensation package reflects the organization's commitment to attracting and retaining top talent while ensuring the sustainability of its operations.
