Spectrum Health Care, a leading provider of innovative home health care and specialized services, is currently searching for a strategic clinical health care leader to join our team. In this role, you will be charged with building innovative partnerships with key stakeholders, including Ontario Health Teams, to co-design programs that drive health system integration – seamlessly linking together acute care, primary care and home and community care services. The perfect candidate will play an integral role in helping to enable Spectrum’s vision to provide patients, especially our seniors, the choice and confidence to be cared for at home.
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships, the Director of Integrated Health Systems and Partnerships is an innovative and respected health care professional who works closely with senior health system leaders and clinical champions in partner organizations to drive business development opportunities that lead to positive system change. In this role, you will identify and capitalize on opportunities to drive enhanced system integration with Ontario Health Teams leveraging Spectrum’s total care approach. You will develop and maintain key partnerships and devise novel strategies and tactics to enhance patient experience and strengthen clinical integration across the continuum.
Job Description
Drive growth by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to solve clinical and health system demand and service challenges. Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that enable organizations to address key challenges. Ensure organizational readiness to support priority organizations/OHTs in achieving their annual target goals. Build and maintain key relationships with primary care networks, hospitals and community providers and other cross-sector stakeholders to advance integrated system thinking and approaches. In collaboration with our partners, lead development, submission, and advocacy efforts in support of proposals that require funding/government approval. Identify areas for improved collaboration and continuous improvement, champion the identification and integration of best practices. Utilize data to inform strategic and operational priorities and to optimize performance. Conduct market research to determine new opportunities and service offerings (, geographic expansion of existing programs/services; development of specialized clinical services to address system gaps)
Qualifications
A degree in a relevant clinical health-related field Designation as a Regulated Health Professional and a member in good standing with the relevant professional college or association Master’s degree in Business or Health Administration is preferred, Ten (10) years of recent related experience in progressively responsible leadership positions Strong leadership experience in healthcare delivery across health systems Canadian Health Executive (CHE) certification is an asset Successful track record of enabling organizations to achieve their annual growth targets Strong knowledge of Ontario’s health system design, funding models and an understanding of priority issues facing local/regional health systems#corp_shc
