Job Summary:

Solar Ship Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and organized Project Coordinator to join our Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support, manage projects, and collaborate with technical personnel to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Operations team by managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and maintaining records.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the COO and other senior management personnel.
  • Manage procurement processes, including purchase requests, POs, and invoices.
  • Assist the Bookkeeper with financial tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve business efficiency.
  • Conduct research and analyze data to inform business decisions.
  • Coordinate youth projects in the Arctic and Africa, and research funding opportunities.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent research and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems.
  • Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Consistent work quality and attention to detail.
  • Calm and professional demeanor, with sensitivity to diverse personality types.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical background or familiarity with the aerospace sector.
  • Experience in social media marketing.
  • Fluency in Swahili, Xhosa, Mandarin, or French.
