Business Development Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Operations Coordinator to join our team at Desjardins. As a key member of our operations support team, you will play a critical role in coordinating business development support operations, ensuring seamless day-to-day activities, and delivering high-quality service to our members and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Planning and Coordination
Develop and implement operational plans to support business development activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Team Support and GuidanceProvide guidance and support to sector employees, focusing on procedures, tools, and operations authorization to ensure efficient performance of duties.
Activity Monitoring and ImprovementRegularly monitor activities and pending operations to ensure deadlines are met, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance productivity and service quality.
Human Resources and Performance ManagementParticipate in HR activities, including performance evaluations, promotions, employee selection, disciplinary measures, training, and vacation time management.
Business Development and Sales SupportHelp optimize operations and increase sales by identifying needs, providing training, coaching sales staff, and conducting follow-ups as needed.
Complaint Resolution and ReportingHelp resolve complaints or dissatisfaction reported to you, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Reporting and AnalysisProduce and analyze reports on sector operations, including key borrowers, irregular loans, and performance measures.
Project Participation and DevelopmentParticipate in various projects related to your sector, focusing on developing and standardizing work tools, practices, and procedures to increase efficiency.
Compliance and SecurityEnsure compliance with all applicable deadlines and standards for quality in all tasks, respecting policies, practices, and standards for conducting transactions and operations securely.
Requirements- Education
College diploma in a related field.
ExperienceA minimum of two years of relevant experience.
Language SkillsStrong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written.
Technical SkillsAbility to compile financial statements, knowledge of loan and guarantee contracts, and familiarity with compliance requirements for regulations on the distribution of financial products and services.
Business AcumenKnowledge of financing and credit management practices related to businesses, understanding of the philosophy and inner workings of a financial services cooperative, and knowledge of policies, legislation, standards, and ethics governing the operation of the caisse and its business centres.
