About the Role

American Iron & Metal is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our New Business Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for acquiring new business and driving sales revenue through effective sales processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete sales process to drive sales revenue and acquire new business
  • Strengthen client relationships through regular engagement and face-to-face meetings
  • Build and manage a book of business through outbound prospecting and inbound opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with the account management team to support existing customers and the renewal process

Requirements

  • Results-driven mentality with a propensity for speed and action
  • Exceptional communication skills, highly organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and high-energy
  • Solid sales forecasting abilities and revenue achievement
  • Successful history of net new business sales
  • Background in inbound and outbound prospecting and closing of new business
