The Culinary Tourism Alliance is seeking a highly skilled Senior Events Coordinator to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic organization in the culinary tourism industry.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced events professional who can plan and execute large-scale events, conferences, and meetings. The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

About the Job

This role will involve developing marketing and communication plans, preparing and managing budgets, and coordinating logistics for events. You will also be responsible for soliciting event donors, arranging for production or purchase of promotional products, and co-ordinating media services.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute large-scale events, conferences, and meetings
  • Develop marketing and communication plans
  • Prepare and manage budgets
  • Solicit event donors
  • Arrange for production or purchase of promotional products
  • Co-ordinate media services
  • Assist in budget preparation
  • Assist in site selection and attend to related details
  • Co-ordinate and monitor conference and meeting activities and attend to related details
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in event planning or a related fieldExcellent project management skills and attention to detailAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to travel for events (on-the-road job)Benefits
