Job Description:

The Institute of Corporate Directors is seeking a highly skilled and organized Senior Events Coordinator to join their team in downtown Toronto. As a key member of the events team, you will be responsible for managing registrations, processing payments, and responding to member inquiries.

About the Institute of Corporate Directors:

Established in 1981, the Institute of Corporate Directors is a not-for-profit organization representing Canadian directors and boards across various sectors. With a network of 11 Chapters and over 17,300 members, the ICD creates forums for dialogue, hosts networking opportunities, and provides access to world-class resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage registrations for webinars and in-person events, including processing payments and refunds
  • Respond to member event inquiries in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth event execution
Requirements:
  • Minimum one year of experience in customer relations, marketing communications, administration, or event management
  • Experience with database entry and administration
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work overtime and attend on-site meetings when required
  • Fluency in French is an asset
What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
