Salary Range$37,500.00 - $69,500.00 per year (salaried position). Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Customer Relationship Specialist to join our collections team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collaborating with customers to understand their needs and develop strategies to resolve delinquent accounts. This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Your primary focus will be on building relationships with customers, understanding their financial situations, and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of collection processes and provide regular updates on account status.

Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with customers to understand their financial situations and develop strategies to resolve delinquent accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure seamless execution of collection processes.
- Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to provide updates on account status.
- Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
- Evaluate and implement loss mitigation solutions to minimize losses.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and Bank information.
- Develop and maintain awareness of industry trends and best practices.
- Typically between 2-3 years of relevant experience in customer-facing roles.
- Post-secondary degree in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of federal, state/provincial and local laws pertaining to Consumer Collections.
- Verbal and written communication skills - Good.

- Analytical and problem-solving skills - Good.
