Procurement Specialist

As a Procurement Specialist - Vendor Relationship Manager at Porter Airlines, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate vendor records, ensuring smooth vendor onboarding, and facilitating timely invoice reconciliation. This role involves creating and updating vendor profiles, verifying accuracy of vendor cage codes, business names, payment terms, and self-auditing forms.
Duties & Responsibilities- Create and update vendor profiles to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Review and reconcile vendor invoices against purchase/repair orders and receipts to identify any discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner, communicating with vendors and internal stakeholders as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and concerns.
- Concern for Safety: Identify hazardous situations and take appropriate action to maintain a safe environment.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with others to achieve organizational goals.
- Initiative: Deal with situations proactively and persistently, seizing opportunities that arise.
- Results Focus: Focus efforts on achieving high-quality results consistent with organizational standards.
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. If you are a motivated and organized individual with previous experience in account management or vendor management, we encourage you to apply. A post-secondary education in a relevant field is preferred, but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
