We are seeking an experienced Office Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our office.



Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have 1-6 months of experience in an administrative setting and possess excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team, including tasks such as opening and distributing mail, scheduling appointments, and recording minutes of meetings.



This is a permanent position with a salary range of $25-$35 per hour, based on a 30-hour workweek. If you are a motivated and organized individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.



Duties and Responsibilities


  1. Provide administrative support to our team: This includes answering telephone calls and relay messages, ordering office supplies, and maintaining inventory.
  2. Schedule and confirm appointments: You will be responsible for arranging travel itineraries and making reservations as needed.
  3. Record and prepare minutes of meetings: This includes typing and proofreading correspondence, forms, and other documents.
  4. Manage information filing systems: You will set up and maintain manual and computerized filing systems to ensure that all important documents are easily accessible.


Requirements


  • 1-6 months of experience in an administrative setting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
