Enforcement Services Coordinator

The City of Barrie is a vibrant and progressive community that values quality of life and connections. We are seeking a highly skilled Enforcement Services Clerk to join our team in the Legislative and Court Services Department.
About the RoleThe Enforcement Services Clerk will provide front-line customer service regarding all aspects of municipal law enforcement. This includes providing information on specialized or technical matters related to Business Licensing, Property Standards, Parking Enforcement, and other regulatory matters. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that Municipal Law Enforcement Officers receive all necessary documents and information in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities- Provide information and assistance to the public regarding municipal by-laws and regulations
- Process and maintain records related to enforcement services
- Assist in the coordination of enforcement activities and events
- Provide support to Municipal Law Enforcement Officers as needed
- Perform other related duties as required
- Two-year college diploma in Office Administration, Legal, or a related discipline
- Two years of experience performing duties related to the major responsibilities of the position
- Intermediate skills in customer service, multitasking, organizational, prioritization, problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication
- Intermediate computer literacy using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
