Job Summary

The City of Barrie is seeking a highly skilled Enforcement Services Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our Legislative and Court Services Department, you will provide front-line customer service and support to the community in enforcing municipal by-laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide information and assistance to the public regarding municipal law enforcement and by-laws
Assist in the administration of justice within the court service areas
Maintain accurate records and reports related to enforcement activities
Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective enforcement of municipal regulations

Requirements

Two-year college diploma in Office Administration, Legal, or a related field
Two years of experience in a related field, preferably in an office environment
Strong knowledge of municipal by-laws and regulations, as well as customer service delivery standards and techniques
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
