The Role:
You will be the first point of contact for internal clients, providing HR services and resolving employee inquiries in a timely manner with independence, discretion, judgment, and initiative.
Your primary responsibilities will include serving as a first point-of-contact through various channels, following communication scripts, identifying client needs, clarifying information, researching issues, and providing solutions or alternatives using applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines.
You will also support employees and People Leaders with HR key processes such as employee benefits, pension enrollment, recruitment, absence, labor relations, safety, training, and other related tasks.
In addition, you will perform basic HR transactions with quality assurance in HR Technology as required, escalate client enquiries to specialists, maintain high-quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines, recommend improved procedures, and promote self-serve portals and HR programs.
You will build sustainable relationships, engage clients by going the extra mile, and update job knowledge by reading HR policies, procedures, and participating in educational opportunities.
Compensation and Benefits:
This management group opportunity offers a salary range of $58,456.35 to $87,739.37, commensurate with qualifications. As an added perk, Hydro Ottawa offers a Hybrid Work Model, which allows for flexibility in work arrangements.
