The New Network is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic HR Leader to join our team in a critical growth phase. This is a pivotal role that combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

About the Role

The Strategic HR Leader will oversee all aspects of the HR function, from talent acquisition to employee engagement and development, while working closely with senior leadership. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing an HR team aligned with the organization's vision and values.
  • Creating and implementing HR strategies that support business objectives and drive organizational performance.
  • Cultivating a workplace culture focused on inclusion, engagement, and excellence through collaboration with leadership.

In addition, the Strategic HR Leader will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes to ensure the organization attracts and keeps top talent.
  • Developing employee growth initiatives, including training programs, career development plans, and succession planning.
  • Fostering a positive, productive work environment by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • Managing compensation and benefits programs to ensure equity, competitiveness, and compliance.
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and provincial employment laws, as well as internal policies.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will bring:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, compensation, and labor relations.
  • Bilingual proficiency (French and English).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. The New Network offers a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
