Job Description

The Strategic HR Business Partner will be responsible for leading all aspects of the HR function, from talent acquisition to employee engagement and development. Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes to ensure the organization attracts and keeps top talent.
  • Development of employee growth initiatives, including training programs, career development plans, and succession planning.
  • Drive performance management strategies that support individual and team success.
  • Advising leadership on labor relations, performance management, and organizational development.
  • Management of compensation and benefits programs to ensure equity, competitiveness, and compliance.
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and provincial employment laws, as well as internal policies.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and at least 8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. Strong analytical skills, bilingual proficiency (French and English), and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively are essential for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, compensation, and labor relations.
  • Bilingual proficiency (French and English).
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
