Business Development Manager

This is a key position within our Flavor Solutions Division, where you will have the opportunity to work with a vast array of flavors, seasonings, and spices/herbs to sell and solve customer product needs. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic Account Plans with critical segmented customers throughout North America.
Responsibilities- Establishing Customer Relationships: You will establish in-depth working customer relationships and manage key activities at all levels within customer's Purchasing, Supply Chain, Marketing, Technical, Operations, Finance, and other functional areas as necessary.
- Growing Existing Customers: You will strategically grow existing customers while also finding new, prospective clients through leveraging professional networks or other social media tools.
- Prioritizing and Managing Opportunities: You will prioritize, manage, grow, and forecast opportunities within an innovation funnel in conjunction with Sales Operations and Business Unit functions to attain profitable sales growth.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Food Science, or related field
- Min. 8-10 years selling flavors, seasoning blends, or ingredients to the Food, Beverage, and/or Health & Nutrition markets
- Understanding of how to sell custom designed flavors and seasonings
The estimated salary for this position is between $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
Preferred Qualifications- Private Label, Co-manufacturer, Retailer customer experience wanted
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English and French
