Administrative Assistant - Part Time

Job Summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and photocopying.
  • Assist with special projects and events as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a non-profit or charitable organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week. The working environment is typically in the office, with occasional travel required.
