Job Title: Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at The Salvation Army. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, including employee files, inventory, and databases.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and other materials as required.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and photocopying.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business administration or office administration.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Working Conditions:
  • This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week.
  • The working environment is typically in the office, with occasional travel required.
  • The ability to lift/move 20 lbs is required.
