About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Receptionist to join our Transitional Care Centre team in Bedford, Nova Scotia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and supporting the overall efficiency of our facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greets and directs visitors, responds to inquiries, and provides routine information to clients, visitors, and staff.
  • Performs a wide range of administrative tasks, including typing, data entry, and record-keeping.
  • Maintains and distributes office supplies, prepares photocopies and facsimiles, and operates office equipment.
  • Monitors fire alarm and security systems, and follows safety and security procedures.
  • May book medical appointments and arrange transportation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong customer service focus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a graduate of an approved 2-year Office Administration/Professional Secretarial diploma or university degree.
