About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at ASC(Midland) Facility Limited Partnership. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Development
    • Develop and implement new menu items and specials to drive sales and customer satisfaction
    • Collaborate with our culinary team to create innovative and delicious dishes
  • Kitchen Operations Management
    • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
    • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties
    • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to improve performance and achieve goals
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels and ordering to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand
    • Monitor and control food costs to ensure that we are operating within budget
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met
    • Respond to customer complaints and feedback in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to train and develop a team of cooks and kitchen staff
Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week
  • English language required
