About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Roof Hound Brewing Co. Limited. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our menu offerings are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Create and implement new menu items, specials, and seasonal offerings that showcase our brewery's unique flavors and ingredients.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage food and supply inventory, minimizing waste and ensuring that all necessary ingredients are on hand.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control food costs, ensuring that they are in line with our budget and that we are able to maintain profitability.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our brew team to develop menu items that complement our beers and enhance the overall dining experience.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
