Job Summary

The Account Manager is the primary point of contact between Nidec Motor Corporation and key customer accounts. This role is responsible for securing new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing relationships with key customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with key customer accounts
  • Maintain and expand existing business relationships with customer accounts
  • Act as a liaison between customer demands and plant demands
  • Develop relationships with key customer accounts to drive future business growth
  • Resolve customer issues to their satisfaction
  • Develop a database of customer knowledge to inform sales strategies
  • Collaborate with the Sales Administrator to manage sales forecasts and resolve commercial issues

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of business disciplines
  • Strong math aptitude
  • Ability to work under general supervision and use judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Strong attention to detail and customer focus
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage time and resources

This role requires a strong understanding of business principles and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role and be able to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
