Business Development Manager Opportunity at Waterford Executive
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at Waterford Executive. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop business plans and sales strategies to achieve sales goals and profitability
- Cold call prospective clients and identify opportunities for new business growth
- Provide timely and accurate pricing on all completed prospect applications
- Utilize a CRM to track and maintain activity levels, perform forecasting, and capture key account information
- Interpret short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit
- Work with the Business Development team to ensure excellent client satisfaction
- Travel regularly throughout the GTA and nationally as required
Requirements:
- A post-secondary degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management; experience in managed services, outsourcing, and/or the print industry considered a strong asset
- An exceptional track record for account retention and delivering profitable business results
- Goal-oriented to achieve targets through self-motivation, persistence, and determination
- Superior problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information
- Ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers
- Professional demeanor with high-level customer service skills
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office required; experience with CRM a strong asset
- Ability and willingness to travel on a regular basis; valid driver's license and vehicle required
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary + uncapped commission (30-50%)
