Business Development Manager Opportunity at Waterford Executive


We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at Waterford Executive. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop business plans and sales strategies to achieve sales goals and profitability
  • Cold call prospective clients and identify opportunities for new business growth
  • Provide timely and accurate pricing on all completed prospect applications
  • Utilize a CRM to track and maintain activity levels, perform forecasting, and capture key account information
  • Interpret short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit
  • Work with the Business Development team to ensure excellent client satisfaction
  • Travel regularly throughout the GTA and nationally as required

Requirements:



  • A post-secondary degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management; experience in managed services, outsourcing, and/or the print industry considered a strong asset
  • An exceptional track record for account retention and delivering profitable business results
  • Goal-oriented to achieve targets through self-motivation, persistence, and determination
  • Superior problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information
  • Ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers
  • Professional demeanor with high-level customer service skills
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office required; experience with CRM a strong asset
  • Ability and willingness to travel on a regular basis; valid driver's license and vehicle required

Compensation and Benefits:



  • Base salary + uncapped commission (30-50%)
