Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie-TIC Specialist to join our culinary team at Shorelines Casino Thousand Islands. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Prepare soups, sauces, and other menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Cleaning and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking of ingredients and supplies.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality dishes.
- Leadership: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum two years' experience in a high-volume restaurant or banquet environment.
- Certifications: Red Seal papers or equivalent experience, valid Safe Food Handling Certificate, and WHMIS certification (an asset).
- Skills: Excellent culinary skills, strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
