About the RoleThe Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing direct patient care to patients based on the three-factor framework outlined by the College of Nurses of Ontario. This involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
The successful candidate will be a motivated and self-directed individual who is a key member of our dynamic interdisciplinary team. The role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a commitment to lifelong learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides patient-focused care within the RN scope of practice, adhering to established hospital policies and procedures.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and all members of the healthcare team.
- Practices collaboratively with members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex health issues.
- Takes charge of patient care in assigned areas, ensuring efficient and effective care delivery.
- Contributes to the development and implementation of clinical pathways and participates in continuous education.
Requirements
- RN Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- CC1 or equivalent completed within three months of hire date.
- CC2 to be successfully completed within one year of hire date.
- ACLS certification preferred.
Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include competitive compensation packages, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a collaborative work environment.
