The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our customers, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to crane electric, electronic, and hydraulic systems via phone, email, and on-site visits.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Spare Parts, Service, and Network Development, to resolve customer issues efficiently.
- Interface with the operations department to provide feedback on market issues and contribute to process improvements.
- Conduct regular on-site service visits with dealers and service partners to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer complaints.
- Travel to support service partner operations, perform repairs, and troubleshoot issues in various locations.
- Deliver basic service training to dealers and service partners, leveraging the Palfinger University program.
- Foster strong relationships with dealers and service partners, facilitating open communication and issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service activities, and other relevant information.
**Requirements:**
- Technical degree or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulics, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of Palfinger Knuckle Boom Cranes, an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent the company professionally.
- Proficiency in MS Office products and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally, as required.
**What We Offer:**
- A competitive salary range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on location and experience.
