Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Professional to drive sales growth and expand our customer base. In this role, you will be responsible for developing strong business relationships with existing and potential customers, identifying new opportunities for growth, and implementing sales strategies consistent with our company's objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales activities to maximize sales growth, margin targets, market share, and overall company objectives
  • Develop and implement sales growth strategies that are consistent with the company's strategic plans
  • Cultivate customers in new areas of business and determine what motivates each customer to purchase and respond accordingly
  • Work with Branch Manager to develop and execute sales growth strategies

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree (two-year college or technical school) or work equivalent
  • Two plus years of experience in sales
  • Internet Research Ability
  • Ability to use software to create presentations, word documents, and spreadsheets
  • Successful track record of selling in the building materials industry and home center/hardware stores preferred
  • Fence or building materials industry experience desired
