We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff, including scheduling appointments, managing budgets, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and control budget and expenditures
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Compile data, statistics and other information
  • Oversee the preparation of reports
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Liaise with management, union officials and HR consultants
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Oversee payroll administration
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Conduct research
  • Perform data entry
  • Provide customer service
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff
  • Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
