Technical Support Specialist with French Language Skills

We're seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Cognizant. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing top-tier support to users in both English and French.
Job Description:This position is responsible for delivering exceptional technical support services to clients via various communication channels. You will be working collaboratively with technical specialists from our Digital Support team, ensuring seamless interactions and efficient resolutions to complex technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage service requests using an online ticketing system, prioritizing tasks effectively to ensure timely resolution.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and enterprise system issues, including desktop and laptop problems.
- Assist users with VPN setup, connectivity issues, wireless router configurations, and password resets to maintain efficient access to systems.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and system access using Active Directory.
- Support desktop/laptop setup, including imaging, installations, and system updates, to ensure flawless user experiences.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken French and English is required.
- 1+ years of proven IT support experience, preferably in a 24x7 environment and expertise with desktop applications like MS Office, Adobe, and Google Suite.
- Solid grasp of VPN concepts and resolutions, as well as familiarity with Active Directory, domain controllers, and password reset tools.
- Outstanding professional interpersonal skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
