We are a leading technology company hiring an IT Support Specialist to join our team onsite in Toronto, Canada.

Job Summary

As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide technical support to internal customers, execute repeatable core business processes, and deliver project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide senior-level technical support to assigned clients, including general application troubleshooting and hardware issue diagnosis.
  • Track computer system issues through to resolution within agreed time limits.
  • Provide technical support to projects and lead teams to deliver project outcomes.
  • On-site PC preparation for new users, hardware and software issue troubleshooting, and hardware shipping and receiving from remote users.
  • Support the life cycle of workstation infrastructure, including installations, implementations, operations, and support.
  • Manage IT assets on-site and keep asset data up to date in the ITAM system.
  • Work with a team of senior technologists to drive high performance and morale.
  • Support incidents and high-value services with a focus on customer experience.
  • Minimize the impact of service disruption to customers and clients during outage situations.
  • Review ongoing tickets and tasks of IT operations and rectify any issues.
  • Create and update documentation pertaining to deployments.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems (3-5 years).
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (3-5 years).
  • Experience in a game and art design studio (preferred).
  • Customer-service related role experience (1-2 years).
  • Asset Management techniques experience (1-2 years).
  • Fluent English language skills; French is an asset.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Basic knowledge of operating system/software deployment tools, such as Microsoft AutoPilot.
  • Understanding of the ITIL framework, incident management, and change control.
  • Mac-based technical support troubleshooting initiatives.
  • M365 platform implementation and management, including Exchange, OneDrive, Teams, and Security tools.

Estimated Salary: CAD $28/hour
