Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at TalentSphere Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the logistics and transportation industry.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough research to identify potential companies and contacts that ship freight across Canada, the USA, and Mexico.
- Develop and execute a strategic outreach plan to prospect new business opportunities through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and social media.
- Collaborate with internal teams to determine pricing and operational processes for customer freight.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) as set by management.
- 3-5 years of experience in a sales development role, preferably in the freight brokerage or 3PL industry.
- Strong knowledge of the logistics and transportation industry, including North American trade lanes and transport modes.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle issues tactfully and responsibly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- College or university education in a related field, such as business or transportation management.
