Liquor Business Director

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Liquor Manager to lead our retail liquor operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing direction to the business unit through ongoing planning and strategy, ensuring organization goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement yearly budgets, 5-year projections, business plans, and period financial statements.
- Lead divisional projects to successful completion and ensure all liquor locations are completing and reporting accurate inventory.
- Address inventory discrepancies to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Work with customers, reports, and executives to demonstrate the Pioneer Co-op brand in all locations, providing exceptional customer experiences.
- Develop new business through marketing programs, merchandising, member analysis, individual contact, strategic insight, and forward planning.
- Foster strong SLGA and vendor relations.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and coach staff, conduct performance reviews, salary administration, and timecards.
- Ensure compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and Saskatchewan Employment Act.

Requirements:
- Previous retail management and supervisory experience.
- Experience with wine, spirits, and beer in a retail setting.
- Related education and/or a strong business background preferred.
- Willing to obtain Serve it Right Saskatchewan Certification.
- Strong computer and technology skills.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Able to work a variety of shifts and be available for after-hour emergencies.
